Does one just get used to it, not hear it anymore? Or does it create a dark place in the soul?"<BR/><BR/>sooner or later, I think all of us will witness someone being harmed by what you call "intimate violence" - whether it's that child that got slapped too hard in the aisle at the grocery store, the woman that is brutalized like the one you heard, or even the owner of the dog that hits.
